I’m Zofia, a fashion journalist making sense of luxury’s favourite buzzwords: money, technology and sustainability, and what they signal underneath.
I report on the business decisions shaping the fashion industry in real time, from AI adoption and digital infrastructure to supply chain shifts, tariffs and climate risk. My work focuses on how brands operate under pressure, and how those choices influence culture, credibility and power in luxury.
I currently report for Glossy, covering global fashion business with a focus on sustainability, technology and long-term structural change. My reporting sits at the intersection of systems and storytelling, grounded in earnings calls, executive strategy and market data, while remaining attentive to cultural relevance and narrative consequence.
Previously, I have contributed to WWD, ELLE UK, The Times, 1 Granary and Lampoon, and held editorial and strategic roles at Sunday Times STYLE, Cube Collective and ELLE Poland. Across publications and roles, my work has consistently focused on translating complex industry shifts into journalism that is rigorous, readable and accountable.
Alongside reporting, I regularly moderate and speak on industry-facing stages, including the Copenhagen Global Fashion Summit, the British Fashion Council’s Institute of Positive Fashion and global Shoptalk events. Most recently, I moderated the first recommerce panel at Shoptalk Luxe in Abu Dhabi and have moderated twice at Shoptalk Barcelona, convening executives and operators around resale infrastructure, emerging business models and long-term value creation.
I hold a BA in English Literature and History of Art from Newcastle University and an MA in Fashion Communication from Central Saint Martins. My postgraduate research examined the future of fashion media through long-form, investigative storytelling. In 2020, I was a joint winner of the Sloggi x Central Saint Martins campaign, recognised for narrative and conceptual innovation.
